RESCUE CRAFT CO. FAQ

FAQ December 2019

I have emailed/messaged but haven’t heard back?

We are a small team of volunteers, so please be patient with us. Due to the high volume of emails and messages we are working our way through them. The best way to get answers, instructions, and patterns is to follow our social media channels and go to our website https://rccaustralia.wixsite.com/rcca.

How can I help?

What Craft Items do you need?
Currently we only need certain items. They include:
-Crochet Birds Nests
-Flannelette Bat Wraps
-Hanging Bags**
-Karmell Bags**

The hanging bags and Karmell bags we are desperate for! The others we will accept.

Please note we do NOT need koala mittens, and joey pouches at this time.

Where are the patterns to sew the items?
All patterns can be found on our Facebook Group under the “File” tab:
https://www.facebook.com/groups/953288541711005/files/

Are you still accepting Food Donations?
We are no longer accepting food donations. Due to everyone's generosity we have more than enough.

Please look on our website under “Donate” to see what are in need of.

Where to send materials?

We’re not collecting materials, only already finished items. We ask people that want to sew more craft items to go to their local op shop if they want to sew. Please consider second hand fabrics and material in order to keep our global carbon footprint down!

What address can I send the finished product to?

Rescue Craft Co.
PO Box 69
Suffolk Park
NSW, 2481

Where can I drop off my finished items?

We are no longer accepting items at our previous drop off locations, all items must be shipped to:
Rescue Craft Co.
PO Box 69, Suffolk Park
NSW, 2481

The group changed its name, why?

Due to another local group called ‘The Rescue Collective’ we want to avoid further confusion and changed our name to Rescue Craft Co! Still the same initiative, same website, same goals, just a slightly different name.

The Facebook page has been deleted?

Yes, we had two Facebook accounts, one was a group, and one was a page.

Due to the high volume of people joining our group and our page, we decided to centralise our communication to avoid confusion, and now actively engage on the page only.

Factories that can supply bulk finished products?

Please contact us so we can advise what carers are in most need of.
